Q: Can I see a demo? A: We do not have a public demo available at this moment yet. We are working on it though. However, the installation of Vanilla is very very easy and you can have your own demo setup in just a few minutes.

Q: Can I also use an other trade script? A: You are free and able to use any other trade script you want!

Q: How come Vanilla 2 is so cheap? A: We learned a lot from making Vanilla 1. Vanilla 1 was made for very large sites with a lot of requirements. Because everything had to made, V1 was priced quite high. When we made V2, we figured we also wanted to be available for smaller sites. We were able to copy a lot of things from V1 and thus V2 took less work than V1, so we can price it lower. In addition we thought a very low price on introduction is a good way to start; we might raise the price later on in 2008, although not to the price V1 was at. The interface of V2 has also been made in a much easier way, which saves us support questions. So although it can technically do the same as V1 (and more), it is more easier to do, which saves us time and thus money, so we can price it lower.

Q: How does Vanilla 2 handle large amounts of traffic? A: Vanilla 1 has already proven that it can handle a lot of traffic without any problems. Sites like yobt.com have been running Vanilla for a long time pushing between 1,5 and 2 million clicks a day through Vanilla without any problems. Vanilla 2 has been coded even better, so that shouldn't be any problem at all.

Q: I'm selling my site, can I sell my copy of Vanilla with it? A: Yes you can, but you will have to pay the $25 transfer fee per site license.
